Description

The edge computing software SlapOS (https://slapos.nexedi.com/) integrates certain cybersecurity aspects: source signature, system image integrity verification, zero knowledge, etc. We want to extend these cybersecurity elements by making cybersecurity within SlapOS a service like any other, according to the "everything is a service" principle.

We are looking for developers interested in any of the following topics:

  • Automating the integration of CVEs (https://www.cve.org/) into the build process
  • Integrating the detection of attacks or flaws in the monitoring process
  • Automate the deployment of cybersecurity orchestration software (e.g. https://github.com/Patrowl)

Responsibilities

  • Improve the security of RapidSpace services
  • Contribute to the quality of software deployed by SlapOS
  • Monitor the security of open source software

Opportunities

  • Python development
  • Knowledge of a build and automatic test environment (DevOps)
  • Contribution to complex free and open source software solutions
